Kerry Washington is stepping back into prestige television with a gripping new role. Apple TV has officially unveiled the first look at ‘Imperfect Women’, a psychological thriller that puts complicated female friendships and buried secrets front and center.

The series sees the Emmy winner starring opposite Elisabeth Moss, with both women also serving as executive producers on the project.

The show promises a dark, emotionally charged mystery that slowly unravels the lives of three longtime friends after a devastating crime.

Based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, ‘Imperfect Women’ centers on themes of guilt, betrayal, and the hidden fractures within seemingly unbreakable bonds.

As the investigation unfolds, so do uncomfortable truths that challenge everything the women thought they knew about one another.

The eight-episode series is created by Annie Weisman and features a stacked supporting cast including Sheryl Lee Ralph, Kate Mara, Leslie Odom Jr., and  Corey Stoll.

Mark those calendars, because the show premieres globally March 18 on Apple TV, with new episodes rolling out weekly through April 29.
