NeNe Leakes is officially stepping back into the Bravo spotlight, marking a previously unfathomable pivot after years of legal drama.

According to TMZ, the 56-year-old will appear on Bravo’s recently announced series, ‘Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip,’ a new evolution of the popular ‘Ultimate Girls Trip’ format.

Housewives honcho Andy Cohen trumpeted news of the show at BravoCon, but cast details were initially kept under wraps.

Now, sources are pouring out details. Specifically, as relates to Leakes.

Word is that the star will not serve as a full-time cast member, but will have a notable presence when the series touches down in Atlanta. Her appearance is expected to be limited to that leg of the journey, with other Housewives from across the franchise popping up in different cities along the way. A component that was also touted as being central to the show’s concept upon its announcement.

The comeback is particularly striking given her past legal dispute with the network. In 2022, she filed a federal lawsuit against the network and more alleging a hostile and racist work environment. The case was later dropped, with both parties agreeing to resolve matters through arbitration.

With the drama seemingly in rearview, it looks like Ms. Leakes is back in the back.
