While performances in Paris, Milan, Sofia, and Katowice have been affected, the songstress has confirmed that several other engagements will proceed as planned.

In a statement issued by her team, Badu confirmed that the following shows will no longer take place as originally scheduled:

• October 18: Paris, France
• October 19: Milan, Italy
• October 20: Milan, Italy
• October 23: Sofia, Bulgaria
• October 25: Katowice, Poland

Although no further explanation was provided, the statement expressed regret over the disruption to fans’ plans.

The statement rep:

“She sincerely apologizes to fans affected by these changes and recognizes the time, effort and travel many have committed to attending.”

The changes did not affect Badu’s October 10-11 appearances at Blue Note London, nor her forthcoming performances in Amsterdam (October 13) and Brussels (October 14).

Meanwhile, her Baloise Session concert in Basel, Switzerland, has been brought forward from October 27 to October 15. Organizers have confirmed that previously purchased tickets remain valid for the new date.

At present, no replacement dates or refund arrangements have been announced for the five affected shows. Ticket holders are advised to contact their respective ticket providers for further information.

Beyond Europe, Badu is also set to headline Spotify’s RNB X Live Dallas alongside H.E.R. on November 1.
