The drama surrounding Chris Brown and Usher’s Atlanta concert has taken another turn.

For, after the R&B superstars faced criticism over a lengthy delay and a reportedly shortened show, new claims have emerged about what happened behind the scenes.

And according to reports, an argument between the pair may have been at the center of the chaos.

As That Grape Juice reported earlier, Thursday’s (November 5) concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium got off to a rocky start, with concertgoers complaining about a delay of more than two hours.

The drama intensified when Brown and Usher reportedly performed separate sets, omitting the joint performances that have been a signature of their blockbuster ‘R&B Tour.’

Now, per TMZ, an argument between the two entertainers was behind the delayed start.

Word is that, with heavy ATL traffic causing a delay for fans attending, Brown wanted to continue with the show on schedule, while Usher wanted to wait.

The reported disagreement offers a possible explanation for the unusual evening, which saw the pair forego their customary onstage collaborations.

The development is particularly interesting given Brown’s earlier social media message:

“Internet . Don’t fall for it.”

The ‘Under the Influence’ singer did not specify which online claims he was addressing.

The latest reports also come three years after the pair were previously rumored to have fallen out, before publicly reuniting and celebrating their friendship.

With four more Atlanta concerts scheduled through November 11, attention now turns to whether the stars can put the reported friction behind them and return to the joint performances that have helped make their tour such a success.
