Let Dawn Richard tell it, Danity Kane fans aren’t the only ones wishing for a full reunion of the one-time Platinum-selling quintet.

As reported here, three of the defunct group’s members – Aubrey, Aundrea, and D. Woods – launched a reunion jaunt earlier this month called ‘The Untold Chapter Tour.’

Storming stages across America, the trek most notably misses founding members Shannon and Dawn – the latter of whom later took to social media to reveal she was snubbed from inclusion on the lineup.

As fans of the group continued inquiring about her absence, Richard unloaded during a recent visit to the Cocoism podcast (as seen above).

“I’m nowhere near perfect, but I’m not the person they say I am,” Dawn explained – saying she doesn’t like being portrayed as “the villain.” “I wasn’t involved; I was iced out of this one. That’s a choice [they made], but I’m not going to go back and forth and be messy and call myself “the mother” [of the group because I came up with the name]. I wish it could be all five of us.”

Going to say she is “saddened by the reality” that all the group’s members are not participating in the tour, going as far as to say she doesn’t know if they will ever get to a place where they mend fences and collaborate creatively again.

At writing, Shannon, Audrey, Aundrea, nor D. Woods reacted to Dawn’s latest claim she was left out of the reunion.
