Chris Brown and Usher have pulled the plug on four upcoming dates of their joint ‘R&B Tour.’

The cancelled shows include stops in Baltimore on October 17, Cincinnati on October 24, Columbia, South Carolina on October 29, and Indianapolis on October 31.

In a statement, tour organisers cited the “health and well-being” of the touring party and crew, explaining that the adjustments would help the trek continue safely following an extensive run of stadium shows. Ticket holders are expected to receive refunds.

The announcement comes as Brown prepares to return to the UK for sentencing on October 26, following his guilty plea to a public order offence in connection with a 2023 London nightclub incident. He faces a maximum sentence of three years in prison.

The tour is currently scheduled to resume in Atlanta on November 5.

“Following an extensive run of sold-out stadium shows on one of the year’s biggest tours, the event promoter has made the difficult decision to cancel select upcoming dates on the R&B Tour to prioritize the health and well-being of the touring party and crew.

The demands of a tour of this length and scale are significant, and these adjustments will allow the tour to continue safely and sustainably through the remaining scheduled performances.

We sincerely apologize to fans affected by these cancellations and appreciate their understanding.”
