Chris Brown Unveils New ‘Brown’ Album Cover As ‘R&B Tour’ with Usher Expands Dates AGAIN Due to Demand

With barely a week separating fans of Chris Brown (affectionately called #TeamBreezy) from his 12th studio album ‘Brown,’ expect to learn more details about the project in the coming days ahead of its May 8 drop.

Set to be delivered courtesy of RCA Records, the opus is home to well-received singles ‘Holy Blindfold,’ ‘Obvious,’ as well as ‘It Depends’ and will mark his first LP release since 2023’s ‘11:11‘ stormed to #9 on the Billboard 200.

Ahead of unveiling the full ‘Brown’ tracklist, Chris took to social media on Wednesday (April 29) with the first peek at its official artwork.

Taking to Instagram, Chris lifted the lid on the cover of the ‘Brown’ album to much fanfare.

“#BROWNALBUM PRESALE AVAILABLE NOW! ALBUM DROPS MAY 8th,” he captioned the pic for his 143 million followers on the platform.

Only building buzz for the content of the LP, many-a-fan likened the cover pose to that of classic projects from some of R&B history’s most celebrated acts including Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Luther Vandross, and Teddy Pendergrass (all of whom have boasted similar poses on artwork for some of the most prized entries to their respective discographies).

Music lovers will find out if ‘Brown’ lives up to the hype when it hits digital shelves on May 8, just three days after Chris’s 37th birthday.

The ‘Brown’ news comes just days after the R&B bad boy expanded the list of dates of his forthcoming ‘R&B Tour‘ with Usher again due to overwhelming demand.

Ahead of its kickoff in Denver on June 26, look below for the itinerary of new North American dates.
