Cardi B reveals her youngest son’s name in sweet first birthday tribute

The rapper celebrated her son Grey M.D., whom she shares with NFL player Stefon Diggs, while reflecting on how her pregnancy helped her through a difficult chapter.

Cardi B revealed her youngest son’s name, Grey M.D., in a first birthday tribute on Wednesday, November 4, and reflected on the strength she found during pregnancy. The rapper shared her newborn’s first photos in November 2025 and discussed her pregnancy that September, but kept his name private until now.

“Happy 1st birthday to Grey M.D,” Cardi wrote in a Threads post. She said that although she had known her son for only a year, it felt as though he had been beside her forever.

Cardi recalled carrying Grey during one of the most uncertain, high-pressure periods of her life. While she was growing him, she wrote, his presence was helping her through it. She also made a playful reference to his name: “You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like.”

The birthday message came with photos showing Grey sitting on a bed in a white outfit, a chain necklace and baseball caps. He wore a green cap in one picture and an orange one in another.

Grey was born on November 4, 2025, the first child Cardi shares with NFL player Stefon Diggs. Cardi confirmed his birthday in a November 2025 photo post, captioning the pictures “11/4,” but did not reveal his name. He appeared in New England Patriots-themed clothing in those pictures, a nod to Diggs’ team at the time.

The rapper is a mother of four. She shares daughter Kulture, son Wave and daughter Blossom with her estranged husband, Offset. During a September 2025 interview with Gayle King, Cardi said she chose to announce her pregnancy on her own terms while working on her second album, “Am I the Drama?”
