The Grammy-winning rapper and the Nigerian goalkeeper sat beside each other at Gio’s restaurant inside The St. Regis Venice. Cardi wore a turquoise dress as the pair dined with several other men at a table overlooking a canal.

TMZ reported that the two showed no public displays of affection but appeared comfortable during the outing. A source who had been watching fireworks from the hotel above spotted the group shortly after their food arrived.

The dinner followed the pair’s appearance at Paris Fashion Week earlier in July. During that outing, Okoye helped Cardi settle into her seat before sitting beside her, a brief exchange that spread online and prompted fans to question whether the two were dating.
