Jill Scott is learning the hard way that Karlissa Saffold, mother of rapper Blueface, isn’t one to bite her tongue when it comes to perceived disses hurled the way of her headline-making son.

Scott, hot on the promo trail for her forthcoming album ‘To Whom This May Concern,’ recently dropped by Angie Martinez‘s ‘In Real Life (IRL)’ podcast to dish on all-things Jill including new music and more.

When quizzed about her guilty pleasures, she admitted the on-and-off shenanigans between Blueface and Chrisean Rock (the mother of his third child) is top of her list.

“I happened to love the drama between Blueface and Chrisean,” she said during the interview. “I love it. I think that that’s a pimp, and I think that she got caught up with her pimp.” 

Once word of the commentary landed on the desk of Karlissa, she imparted a fiery clap back on her son’s behalf.

“Jill Scott, you know your big a** didn’t have no right coming for none of these kids talking about, ‘He a pimp,'” said Saffold (as seen in the video above). “A pimp is somebody who lies and leeches off of women. If anything, Blue done gave so many women opportunities and careers from them trying to f*ck on him for something. They got everything they came for in return.”

As if that wasn’t enough, Saffold theorized Scott’s take on the Blueface-Chrisean saga was due to her failed relationship with ex-husband Mike Dobson (who she was granted a restraining order against in 2017).
