Bad Bunny bounces to yet another win thanks to his triumphant showing at the 2026 Super Bowl.
Appointed this year’s halftime show headliner, Bunny’s star-studded spectacle – which featured guest appearances from Lady Gaga, Cardi B, Ricky Martin, Jessica Alba, and more – rocked people in- and outside of Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium to record-setting measure.
Despite being one of the event’s most controversial and polarizing performers yet, the Latin superstar not only danced to the fourth highest-watched halftime in the show’s history in his native country but also broke social media records in the process.
Now, reports indicate Bunny (born Benito Ocasio) has hopped to #1 on a global scale.
Taking to press Monday (March 2), the halftime show’s producer Roc Nation – three weeks after Bunny rocked the halftime show – confirmed his showing broke the global viewership record.
Garnering a whopping 4.16 billion views across international and U.S. broadcasts, YouTube, and other digital properties in the first 24 hours after hitting American screens, the ‘Benito Bowl’ now reigns as the most-watched halftime show ever when all consumption methods are considered.
That historic number is comprised of the 128.2 million views it garnered in the U.S. alone, making it the fourth-most watched halftime show in recorded history in America following Kendrick Lamar (133.5 million, 2025), Michael Jackson (133.4 million, 1993), and Usher (129.3 million, 2024).
