The duo sparked buzz online by sharing a photo in front of the famed Georges Seurat painting that inspired the show, captioned with lyrics from the musical. Originally debuting on Broadway in 1984, the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine classic centers on fictionalized Seurat and the emotional toll of artistic obsession.

While their roles haven’t been confirmed at the time of writing, the production’s female lead, Dot, is Seurat’s lover. With Grande already planning an extended London stay for her 2026 tour dates, it seems the singer-actress isn’t stepping away from the spotlight anytime soon.
