Zendaya shares a rare glimpse into her relationship with Tom Holland: ‘My best friend’

Asked about having a lifelong friend in her career that she’s grateful to have grown up alongside, Zendaya shared, “Well Tom, obviously, my best friend. Being able to do these films with him is a privilege and I love being able to grow together and watch him and he’s the best!”

The pair first met while filming 2017’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” portraying Peter Parker and MJ. Their off-screen romance became public in 2021 after years of speculation, though they’ve largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight.

Zendaya’s latest remarks offer another rare glimpse into their partnership, which has evolved alongside their careers. Both actors have become two of Hollywood’s biggest stars while continuing to reunite on major projects, including “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” and Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey.”

The new Marvel film also marks a fresh chapter for the beloved characters after the emotional ending of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which left Peter Parker facing a world that no longer remembers him.
