Wedding bells are officially ringing! Young Thug and Mariah The Scientist are engaged.

The rapper surprised fans and Mariah herself with a proposal during his hometown Atlanta tour stop. 

As Mariah was on stage performing her biggest hit of the year, ‘Burning Blue’, the moment took an unexpected turn.

When she turned around, Young Thug was down on one knee, popping the question in front of an excited crowd.

Clearly stunned and overjoyed, Mariah accepted the proposal, later sharing a simple reaction

“Guess I’m getting married.”

What makes the moment even more shocking is the timing. Just days before the proposal, Mariah opened up during a candid conversation on Angie Martinez’s ‘Power Session’ where she expressed her desire for commitment and marriage. 

The singer revealed that she wants to be married before having children, and almost immediately after, Young Thug delivered exactly that.
