The Atlanta rapper had fans hyped after finally revealing that his long-awaited project ‘UY Scuti‘ would arrive this Friday (September 19).

Days later, Thug announced on his Instagram Story that the album is being pushed back a week, now dropping next Friday (September 26) instead.

So what happened? Looks like some friendly competition.

Cardi B is making her highly anticipated return with her sophomore album, ‘Am I the Drama?,’ and the rollout has been one for the books.

With all eyes locked on Cardi’s big comeback, it seems Thug didn’t want his release to get lost in the shuffle.

Now, with Thug pushing his project back, the stage is set for Cardi to have her moment while Thug gears up to take over the following week.
