World Cup 2026: Katy Perry, Future, & Tyla Among Big Names to Headline All-Star FIFA Opening Ceremonies

The FIFA World Cup is featuring not one, not two, but THREE opening ceremonies across the United States, Canada, and Mexico this year – a first in the event’s nearly 100-year history.

And what’s more, the football (soccer) showdown is bringing some of the biggest names in Pop, Rap, and multiple genres in between for the ride.

Global superstars Katy Perry, Tyla, Future, Anitta, Lisa, and Rema will headline FIF World Cup 2026 opening celebrations across North America (Canada, Mexico, and the United States specifically).

While Michael Bublé, Alessia Cara, and Alanis Morissette will thrill audiences in Toronto, Perry and Future will tackle the USA live from Los Angeles and Tyla is slated to rock Mexico City.

More big-named performers are set to be announced in the coming weeks including the unveiling of who will headline the FIFA’s first-ever halftime show.

Produced in creative partnership with Balich Wonder Studio, this year’s iconic FIFA event will not only boast electrifying live performances but also large-scale visuals and immersive storytelling to illustrate the power of global unity.

The United States is set to faceoff against Paraguay in the opening showdown of the World Cup 2026 – one of a record 104 matches across 16 host cities.

FIFA World Cup 2026 begins Thursday (June 11) in Mexico City and finishes Sunday (July 19) at New York New Jersey (also known as Metlife) Stadium.
