Will Smith has scored a major legal victory after a judge dismissed the sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him by violinist Brian King Joseph.

The actor had been sued earlier this year over allegations tied to an incident during a 2025 tour stop in Las Vegas. However, the court has now ruled that the claims presented were not enough to move the case forward.

Joseph alleged that someone entered his hotel room while he was away and left behind a cryptic note reading, “Brian, I’ll be back … just us,” allegedly signed “Stone F.”

He also claimed wipes, beer, and HIV medication were left in the room.

The violinist further alleged the Oscar winner had been “grooming” him for sexual activity and claimed he lost his job after reporting the incident.

Still, the judge ultimately sided with Smith.

Per TMZ, the judge ruled the lawsuit “fails to adequately allege conduct that is sufficiently severe or pervasive” to qualify as sexual harassment.

The ruling also noted Joseph failed to prove that only Smith or members of his team had access to the hotel room, especially after admitting he left his room key unattended in a van shared with crew members.

While the case has been dismissed, Joseph reportedly has the option to amend the complaint and refile.
