As previously reported, ‘Wicked: For Good’ is making history as one of the year’s top box-office contenders after soaring to a record-smashing $150 million opening in North America and $226 million globally. 

The film gathered audiences right out the gate, topping Friday’s charts with a massive $68.7 million debut across 4,115 theaters.

Led by a powerhouse female cast, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, and directed once again by filmmaker Jon M. Chu, the movie is proving to be both a commercial and cultural moment.

And while the box office numbers are buzzing, audience reaction is shining just as bright. According to Rotten Tomatoes, ‘Wicked: For Good’ currently holds a 70% Tomatometer and an impressive 95% Audience Score, showing that beyond the reviews, the fans have spoken: it’s a hit.
