Citing sources with direct knowledge of the situation, TMZ reports that the confrontation unfolded as attendees were moving around the stage area following the live broadcast. Taylor was heading toward the stairs when a security guard stepped in to stop her.

The guard allegedly used his body to block access and placed his hands on the performer while attempting to prevent her from moving past him.

Video recorded inside the theatre captures the Harlem native addressing the guard directly as the moment escalated. Taylor can be heard saying during the exchange.
