Timbaland is facing a lawsuit from DJ E Feezy, who claims he lost out on a $120,000 touring gig after the hitmaker allegedly dropped him so his son could take his place.

Full story below…

E Feezy claims he was hired to DJ during the producer’s portion of Missy Elliott’s ‘Out of This World Tour’ in 2024, with an arrangement that would pay him $4,000 per performance.

According to the suit, he began preparing for the trek by rehearsing the set, securing authorization to work in Canada, and covering legal expenses.

He also says he turned down other opportunities because he expected to spend July and August on the road.

Less than a month before the tour launched, however, 54-year-old Timbo allegedly dropped him from the run. E Feezy claims the music titan’s son ultimately took his place and characterizes the switch as nepotism.

The parties reportedly later reached a settlement, but the DJ alleges its terms were not honored. He is now seeking approximately $130,000 in damages.

Timbaland disputes that account and has asked a judge to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing that no enforceable agreement existed. The Virginia native has also filed a complaint against his former manager, who handled the negotiations, maintaining that any money owed to E Feezy should be the manager’s responsibility.

The case now hinges on whether a binding agreement existed and whether the producer’s company is liable for the alleged loss.
