Tiger Woods is back in the headlines as new details about his recent DUI arrest emerge.

According to the arrest affidavit provided by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday (March 31), Woods had two loose hydrocodone pills in his pocket at the time he was taken into custody. The pills are described as “painkillers.”

As previously reported, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, however, Woods tells a different story about what led to the incident.

He claims the crash was caused by distraction, pointing to his cell phone as a factor just before the rollover. Per the arrest report, however, Woods acknowledged he takes prescription medication.

At the station, he submitted to a breathalyzer test and both samples came back clear for no alcohol in his system.

However, he refused to take a urine test, which would have cleared him of any drug use.

According to court records obtained by TMZ, the 50-year-old golfer filed a written plea of not guilty on Tuesday (March 31) – opting not to appear at the pre-trial conference.

He also retained criminal defense attorney Douglas Duncan, the lawyer who previously represented him during his 2017 DUI case.

A court hearing is scheduled for April 23.
