Tiger Woods is facing fresh legal trouble following his dramatic crash in Florida.

The golf legend was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a rollover incident on Jupiter Island on Friday.

Authorities say the situation escalated quickly after officers arrived at the scene and assessed his condition.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash took place just before 2pm near the trailblazer’s home. Deputies found his Range Rover overturned after it scraped a trailer while attempting to overtake a vehicle on a narrow road.

Officials say he was able to exit the vehicle through the passenger side and was not injured. However, responding officers suspected impairment and called in DUI investigators:

“Mr. Woods did exhibit signs of impairment… He was placed under arrest and taken to the Martin County Jail.”

Woods reportedly complied with a breathalyzer test, which returned zero alcohol, but declined to provide a urine sample. Authorities now believe the impairment may be linked to medication or another substance.

The 50-year-old faces misdemeanor charges, including DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to testing.

The incident adds to a complex history with driving-related cases, including a 2017 arrest and a serious 2021 crash that left him with major injuries.
