Shakira and Tyla delivered show-stopping performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony. Now, the South African amapiano star is joining Shakira on the U.S. leg of the ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.’

The World Cup kicked off on June 11 at the legendary Azteca Stadium in Mexico City.

Shakira headlined the ceremony alongside Burna Boy, performing their official tournament anthem, ‘Dai Dai.’

Tyla also commanded the global stage. She delivered a stunning rendition of the South African national anthem, ‘Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika,’ accompanied by the Mzansi Youth Choir. 

Following their powerful performances, Shakira made a surprise announcement. Shakira shared on her Instagram Stories:

“I love Tyla. I love her as an artist and as a human being. I think she’s just amazing. I think this performance is going to be simply iconic.”

The Colombian superstar confirmed that the South African belle will join her as a special guest during the Stateside leg of her record-breaking trek. Exact dates are pending. 

The 2026 North American leg kicked off on June 13 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, with two consecutive nights. 

Additional tour stops include San Jose, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Baltimore, Boston, Newark, Brooklyn, Belmont Park, and Atlantic City.  The tour has already set a Guinness World Record as the highest-grossing tour by a Latin artist. 

That’s not all.

Shakira will also perform at the FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. She will co-headline alongside Madonna and BTS.
