Sexyy Red is pushing back as her child’s grandmother asks a judge to enter a $5 million default judgment against her.

The rapper’s attorney categorically denies allegations that she shared Nicole Barnes’ address and encouraged followers to attack her home.

Barnes filed the lawsuit in March 2025, alleging Sexyy exposed her location online and called on fans to “kick the door in.” She says the alleged threats forced her to leave the property and caused emotional harm.

In a newly reported motion, Barnes claims the St. Louis performer failed to answer the complaint after being served through publication when ordinary service attempts were unsuccessful.

She is now seeking a default judgment for $5 million. Importantly, the judge has not ruled on that request, and the amount has not been awarded.

Sexyy’s lawyer Jason Lampert told TMZ:

“The claims asserted in this case are baseless and completely without merit.”

He added that the rapper denies the allegations and intends to defend herself in court.

The response marks a significant shift from the dispute’s early stage, when no public answer from Sexyy’s team had been reported.

For now, Barnes’ accusations remain allegations, and the court is tasked with deciding whether the procedural requirements for a default have been met.
