‘And Just Like That’ the ‘Sex and the City’ revival has come to an end.

For, it has been confirmed that the HBO show will be wrapping with season 3.

Fans will once again say goodbye to Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Kristin Davis as Charlotte York Goldenblatt, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes, and Nicole Ari Parker as Lisa Todd Wexle.

Kim Cattrall, who famously played Samantha Jones in the original series, did not return full-time for the show and instead made a guest appearance in season 2.

News of the ending of ‘And Just Like That’ was confirmed by showrunner Michael Patrick King moments ago. He wrote:

“And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex And The City universe is coming to an end. While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That season three, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12. SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn’t want the word ‘final’ to overshadow the fun of watching the season. It’s with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.”

Having premiered in 2022, the show was billed as a one-off limited series. Yet, it returned for a sophomore run and again for season 3.

The latter will now function as the final curtain call, with the last episode airing on August 14.
