Jazzma Kendrick is speaking out following allegations she made against her former partner, Rick Ross.

The model and real estate agent recently took to Instagram Stories, alleging that the Hip-Hop heavyweight physically assaulted her during their on-and-off relationship.

Kendrick previously shared images of an injured lip alongside claims that Ross “busted” her lip, while encouraging others experiencing abuse to leave unsafe relationships, saying:

“It’s always good until it isn’t. If a man hits you one time, he will do it again. Don’t give him the opportunity. Value your life and leave.”

Now, Kendrick has returned with an update, thanking those who reached out and assuring supporters that she is okay. She shared:

“To everyone who reached out, sent love, or just held space for me, thank you. I felt every message, even the ones I haven’t answered yet. I want you to know I’m okay. This happened about a month ago, so l’ve had time to sit with it, process it, and start healing. Speaking up wasn’t easy, but your support reminded me I made the right choice. If you’re going through something similar, you’re not alone, and you deserve to be safe.
Now, back to living my life.”

Ross has not publicly responded to the allegations at the time of reporting.
