RIAA: Bryson Tiller Joins Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Drake, & The Weeknd on Historic List of Black Men with MULTIPLE Diamond Singles

By the end of September 2025, only 11 Black men could boast having scored multiple Diamond-certified singles over the 73-year history of the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) history: The Weeknd (7),  Drake (5), Khalid (3), Kanye West (2), Chris Brown (2), Travis Scott (2), JAY-Z (2), Lil Wayne (2), Kane Brown (2), Michael Jackson (2), and J. Cole (2).

Thanks to the addition of megahits from rapper-singer Bryson Tiller earlier this month, there are now 12.

Taking to press on Thursday (October 2), the RIAA revealed Tiller’s two biggest hits – ‘Don’t‘ and ‘Exchange‘ – had met the organization’s threshold for Diamond certification.

For context, “Diamond” refers to singles or albums that have sold 10 million units in the United States.

Both found aboard his 2015 debut album ‘TrapSoul,’ ‘Don’t sits at 15x Platinum (for sales of 15 million in the U.S.) while ‘Exchange’ shines at 13x Platinum (for sales of 13 million in the same country).

‘Don’t’ and ‘Exchange’ led a slew of RIAA updates to Tiller’s catalog that collectively pushed his career-wide single sales to a staggering 65.5 million (as of time of this report).

The historic certification news came the same day the second half of his double album ‘Solace & the Vices’ arrived to digital shelves for streaming. Hear it here.

Note: It’s worth calling out that the RIAA only credits certifications to lead acts, so any certified song where any artist mentioned in this article is listed as a feature is not officially added to their career counts.
