Four years after Ray J sent shockwaves through the news cycle after reports he had been hospitalized due to a severe case of pneumonia, the actor-singer is back atop headlines again after being admitted to a Nevada medical facility for battling a similar diagnosis.

In a story first broken by TMZ on Wednesday (January 7), it’s been revealed Ray entered a Las Vegas hospital on Tuesday (January 6) after reports of severe chest pains seemingly stemming from another battle with pneumonia.

According to a source close to the 44-year-old (born Willie Ray Norwood Jr.), he remains in the facility where he has received X-rays and an echocardiogram. The results of those tests have not been made available to the public at the time of this report.

At writing, Ray, his superstar sister Brandy, nor his reality TV show ex-wife Princess Love has made a public statements about his hospitalization.

The news of his illness comes just weeks after he was released from jail after appearing to pull a gun on Love while streaming live on social media.
