Claressa Shields is once again the talk of the internet after a firey clip of her threatnening to throw hands went viral, only for Remy Ma to shut down speculations she was the target.

In the resurfaced footage, Shields can be heard saying:

“You don’t even know what smoke is, baby … I’m from Flint, baby. Quit playing with me. I ran up on that h*e. She wanna talk about that sh*t, fight me. I wanted to see what it was like with that face-to-face conversation because that’s what I’m about.”

She goes on to taunt, saying:

“You wanna do all that tweeting, baby? I’m about this. You’re right, we do just need to fight. We do. Yes, come to 54 so I can show you what’s up … I ain’t even mean to put my hands on that girl. Lord, I have to catch myself, but she started putting her hand on my face … You’re mad that you met that you met your match, and that’s OK, cause I’m gonna give you what you want every time. Now what?”

Given the pair’s rocky past, marked by messy cheating allegationws involving Remy’s ex Papoose, fans quickly assumed the two were back at odds. But Remy swiftly hopped on Instagram to laugh it off, writing:

“[Laughing emojis] imagine the f*ck that. Definitely NOT tawkin bout me… cuz umm yeah.”

Turns out, the clip wasn’t fresh tea at all. According to Complex, Shield’s tirade was from April 2024, following a heated face-off with fellow boxer champ Alycia Baumgardner in Las Vegas. Watch it below:

Whilst Remy and Shields have not patched things up it doesn’t look like they will be getting in the ring anytime soon.
