Just as Nipsey Hussle fans get acquainted with his new album, the August 14-released ‘Prolific,’ reports have surfaced that even more previously unheard tunes from the late rapper could be on the way.

Blacc Sam, Nipsey’s older brother and manager, confirmed that a joint project between the slain emcee and YG could be in development.

The revelation came during a recent interview with Bootleg Kev.

Sam explained that the session which produced their politically-charged 2016 hit ‘FDT (F**k Donald Trump)‘ was originally part of a bigger project.

“I think that ‘F**k Donald Trump’ came from those sessions, from one of those sessions and they just ended up leaking it. I know there probably are some verses, a lot of the team and a lot of [their] guys sent over everything when we did a blitz to see what was out.”

The news follows the release of Prolific, a posthumous joint project with Bino Rideaux. YG was notably absent from that album.

Sam also revealed that the estate is strategically planning new music for an upcoming documentary and explained that the soundtrack will feature records that are close to being complete or didn’t land on a project.

Sam said:

“For us, the soundtrack to the documentary is where dope records that are close to being complete or don’t fully have a project and haven’t landed on a project and are kind of timestamped to where you could tell Hussle was younger here, Hussle older here.”

It remains unclear when the YG project or the documentary soundtrack will be released, but what is clear is that fans are eager to hear more from Nipsey’s vault.
