The papers are part of a lawsuit filed by the law firm Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP. The firm claims Minaj owes $229,541 in unpaid legal fees. The fees stem from work defending her in a copyright infringement case over her 2014 song ‘I Lied.’

The copyright battle ended in a confidential settlement late last year. However, Minaj’s former attorneys now allege they were never paid. They filed suit earlier this year. The firm is now asking for a default judgment, claiming Minaj failed to respond within the required timeframe.

This is not Minaj’s only legal dispute this year. A production company sued her for $275,000 over alleged unpaid expenses tied to an iHeartRadio Jingle Ball performance. She has denied personal responsibility for those costs.

Minaj also faced a lawsuit from a former security guard. That case resulted in a default judgment of more than $500,000. Reports indicate she satisfied that judgment before it could lead to further action against her property.

The latest legal papers at her gate serve as a reminder of her mounting legal battles.
