In a post on X, the rapper and Republican supporter reveals how she’s taking the news in 15 points.
After an enormous political blue wave—bluenami, if you will—swept away nearly every candidate she endorsed in the midterms, Nicki Minaj is finally breaking her silence.
On Thursday, Nov. 5, two whole days after Democrats’ landslide victory, the rapper turned President Donald Trump darling outlined how she feels about the results in 15 points posted on X.
“1. Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT,” she kicked off the list.
Next, presumably referring to herself, she declared, “The QUEEN is STILL your OBSESSION,” followed by “Jesus is STILL LORD,” “Great insight by the VICE PRESIDENT,” and “Knowledge is POWER.”
She also congratulated the winners, especially Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna and Florida Gov.-elect Byron Donalds, before taking aim at her political opponents.
“Blowing a billion on a losing campaign full of celebrities is STILL hurting them,” she wrote, continuing, “The BARBZ are STILL PRETTY!!!”
She urged critics to “Stay tuned & STAY MAD,” before concluding with remarks about Christians being killed, hoping people would “WAKE UP,” and a final “Love you.”
Apparently, she had two more things to get off her chest. In a follow-up post, Minaj defended billionaire Elon Musk and praised his artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok.
The post arrived after Democrats delivered sweeping victories across the country, flipping control of both the House and Senate despite Republican efforts to redraw congressional districts in their favor. The election also brought historic victories for several Black candidates, including former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, who became Georgia’s first Black governor and the first Black woman elected governor of any U.S. state.
In the lead-up to the midterms, Minaj has spent months becoming one of Trump’s most vocal celebrity supporters. In October, just weeks before the election, she joined him at a campaign rally in Michigan where she encouraged her millions of followers to vote Republican.
However, most of the candidates she publicly backed weren’t very successful. Republican Mike Rogers lost Michigan’s U.S. Senate race to Democrat Abdul El-Sayed, while John James lost the state’s gubernatorial race to Jocelyn Benson. In New York, Republican Bruce Blakeman failed to unseat Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul. Donalds, who defeated Democrat David Jolly to become Florida’s first Black governor, was among her few bright spots.
And this is only the latest from her election week. On Election Day, the “Super Bass” rapper shared an AI-generated image of the murderous doll Chucky, dressed in pink and sporting a “Vote Red” pin. However, that didn’t sit well with the character’s creator, Don Mancini, who wasted no time reminding her that Chucky was on the other side of the political aisle.
“IMPOSTER. CHUCKY IS PART OF THE BLUE WAVE THAT WILL WASH AWAY ALL THE CORRUPTION,” Mancini responded.
The filmmaker also reminded Minaj that Chucky has a transgender child and opposes Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Following the Democratic victories, Mancini shared another image of Chucky with blue hair and added, “Too bad, Nicki!”
As for Minaj, she also used her 15 points to remind everyone that she doesn’t, in fact, vote.
