The media mogul, who shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey, is speaking candidly about how differently he’s handling their teenage years, especially when it comes to dating.

During a recent chat on TMZ’s podcast, the 45-year-old didn’t shy away from acknowledging the contrast in how he parents his son versus his daughter.

Speaking on the 15-year-old’s, he said:

“My son has been dating, and I’ve allowed it. I’ve encouraged it.”

But when it comes to Monroe, the answer is a firm no.

“No, absolutely not. It’s absolutely a double standard. You have to because… there is a difference when parenting a son and when parenting a daughter.”

The media mogul explained that his stance comes from a place of protection, particularly given the risks he believes young women face.

“If somebody puts their hands on my daughter, I’m going to jail… that’s my worst nightmare.”

As for Moroccan, his concerns lean elsewhere.

“He’s got a lot of money. His mama’s Mariah Carey.”
