Easily one of the longest-charting female R&B hits in recent memory, Kehlani‘s smash ‘Folded‘ remains in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 even 42 weeks after first premiering there.

Albeit a good problem to have, Lani is undoubtedly still hoping to shine a spotlight on some of the other offerings found aboard her eponymous, April 24-due new album – a project that’s yet to see any follow-up single reach the heights of ‘Folded.’

To change the tide on that trajectory, the GRAMMY-winning songstress tapped Hip-Hop royal Missy Elliott to assist with the LP’s newest release: ‘Back and Forth.’

“(I ain’t goin’ back and forth tonight, I’m goin’ out) I ain’t goin’ back and forth tonight (Woah) / (I ain’t goin’ back and forth tonight, I’m goin’ out) It’s last call, you’re the last thing on my mind / (I ain’t picking up the phone for none, uh, before the lights c’mon) Get there when I get there, take my time (Woah),” the two wail over The Stereotypes production.
