Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the full official trailer for the upcoming psychological thriller ‘Verity’. This time, we’re getting more of a look into the characters and eeriness in the movie.

The Michael Showalter-directed flick focuses on renowned author, Verity Crawford, and Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer. Lowen relocates to the remote Crawford estate to ghostwrite for Verity by the request of Verity’s husband.

But, after Lowen uncovers what looks like Verity’s autobiographical manuscript, she wrestles with the disturbing and twisted confessions about Verity’s husband Jeremy. She finds it hard to separate fact from fiction, manipulation from attraction, and opportunity from obsession.

The star-studded cast includes Anne Hathaway (Verity Crawford), Dakota Johnson (Lowen Ashleigh), and Josh Hartnett (Jeremy).

The ensemble cast joining them includes Ismael Cruz Córdova, Brady Wagner, Irina Dvorovenko, K. K. Moggie, Michael Abbott Jr., and Alex Cooper.

‘Verity’ premieres in theaters on October 2.
