After years of speculation surrounding a revival, the new installment promises a darker, more intense take on the classic story. 

The film follows a haunting mystery in which the young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the family is stunned when she suddenly returns—what should be a joyful reunion quickly spirals into a living nightmare.

The Warner Bros film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, Verónica Falcó, May Calamawy, May Elghety, Natalie Grace, Shylo Molina, Billie Roy, and Hayat Kamille.
