Miley Cyrus appears ready to introduce the world to…Miley.

The superstar has set tongues wagging after rolling out striking new branding that conspicuously does away with her famous surname, adding fresh fuel to speculation that a new musical chapter is incoming.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the 33-year-old’s official website has been refreshed with new imagery and prominent ‘MILEY‘ branding, with ‘Cyrus’ nowhere to be seen.

She turned the volume up on the tease today (August 31), sharing a new image on Instagram accompanied simply by:

“MILEY.”

As Nylon notes, the change has prompted chatter that the GRAMMY winner may be embracing a mononymous stage identity for her next chapter.

For now, however, Miley has not formally announced that she is permanently dropping ‘Cyrus’ from her professional name.

What appears much clearer is that change is in the air.

The rebrand follows the singer’s recent move to Atlantic Records, where she is expected to launch the next phase of her recording career.

Cyrus has already confirmed that a tenth studio album is taking shape and previously described the project as a layered love story reflective of where she is in her life.

So, new label, new look, potentially a new name.

All eyes are officially on MILEY.
