Music lovers are getting the best of both worlds because Miley Cyrus is bringing Hannah Montana back to the small screen!

Disney+ has lifted the lid on official news around the ‘Hannah Montana’ 20th Anniversary Special, exactly 20 years after the show’s debut on Disney Channel.

Teased with a sleek clip of Cyrus stepping onto a soundstage, the special promises nostalgia with a candid-sit down with Alex Cooper of the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast plus unseen archived footage and returns to iconic sets.

In a statement speaking about the anniversary reported by Billboard, Cyrus shared:

“Hannah Montana will always be a part of who I am. What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I’ll always be thankful for that connection,” Cyrus gushed in a statement. “The fact that it still means so much to people all these years later is something I’m very proud of. This ‘Hannahversary’ is my way of celebrating and thanking the fans who’ve stood by me for 20 years.”

Fresh off becoming the youngest-ever ‘Disney Legend,’ Cyrus can now perform her beloved Hannah hits again when the special premieres on March 24 on Disney+.
