Reacting to a viral critique from Meredith Lynch, which took aim at the perceived contradiction of celebrities wearing “ICE OUT” symbols while attending a Bezos-funded affair. She questioned the Amazon tycoon’s involvement, saying:

“It is wild to me that this event is sponsored by Jeff Bezos, who has backed Trump, who has slashed arts funding.”

Henson doubled down, commenting on the post:

“I am so confused by some ppl that are going. I am just like WTF ARE WE DOING!?!?!?!”

The actress also reshared posts highlighting the stark contrast between Bezos’ luxury lifestyle and reported conditions faced by Amazon workers.

Still, the backlash didn’t dim the guest list. Heavyweights like Beyonce, Rihanna, and Bad Bunny stepped out for fashion’s biggest night, themed ‘Fashion is Art’.’
