The last 48 hours have seen Kevin McCall dominating headlines like never before, and that domination seems poised to be extended now that he’s gained a new foe in fellow singer-songwriter Mario.

As reported here, McCall saw his name soar to trending status on social media after he had a meltdown during an interview with the ‘Back on Figg‘ podcast.

While chatting with the crew of hosts, the 40-year-old broke down during a discussion about his financial woes – a status he says has left him unable to pay his child support to actress-model Eva Marcille because he’s surviving on government assistance (EBT).

What’s more, he insinuated he’s owed money by his former collaborator, Chris Brown, who is enjoying the fruits of a successful ‘Breezy Bowl World Tour.‘

Once the news got to Brown’s desk, he not only clapped back by calling McCall a “broke troll” but also took to Instagram on Wednesday (October 22) in a separate post to showcase photos from his sold-out global jaunt.

Despite having no caption, dedicated fans of Chris (affectionately called #TeamBreezy) caught the subtle shade as the pics were accompanied by the sounds of the R&B bad boy’s 2010 hit ‘Deuces‘ which featured and was co-written by Kevin.

Among the thousands of commenters cackling at the veiled diss was GRAMMY nominee Mario (born Mario Barrett), who McCall took aim at in the comment section of the shady post.

“Apologize right now…and I’ll give you a pass, but don’t overdo it Sir NOSTRILs. I’ll really sing you under the table, I’m not a cameraman,” Kevin said in reference to Mario’s recent viral video cussing out a videographer.

Later in the lengthy comment response, McCall even challenged the ‘Let Me Love You’ hitmaker to a “sing off.”

“Drop some music n-gga, R&B up right now. And you outsinging me ever sounds crazy,” Barrett replied.

McCall later upped the ante by suggesting the two enter the ring in a celebrity boxing match. At the time of this report, however, Barrett has not responded to the request.

The short-but-spicy interaction occurred just a day after Kevin went viral for claiming Mario “can sing” but is “corny.”
