With the upcoming release of her new children’s book, ‘Lil Lizzo Meets Sasha B. Flootin’, set to arrive this September.

The singer described the project in a sit-down with Gayle King

She shared:

 “This is a story about finding your voice,” she shared. “And the only way to find your voice is by being yourself and trusting yourself. It doesn’t matter where you are or who you know. At the end of the day, it’s always going to be about you.”

She added that by the end of the story, Little Lizzo and Sasha learn the power of embracing who they truly are.

Lizzo also revealed that new music is on the way, making it clear that with a children’s book release and fresh music coming soon, 2026 is already shaping up to be a major year.
