After years of teasing, K. Michelle finally has a date locked and loaded for her long-awaited debut Country album ‘Jesus & Whiskey.’

Formally announced in late July after an appearance on ‘Live with Kelly & Mark,’ the nine-song set is slated for an October 16 release – over 3 years after she bid farewell from R&B with the ‘I’m the Problem‘ LP.

The visit to ‘Kelly & Mark’ was also accompanied with the live TV debut of the project’s title track, a tune that saw its recorded version officially unveiled on Thursday (August 20).

“But he without sin can go cast the first stone / Little corner booth, little front row church pew / Wherever I go, they’re both with me / So I thank God for Jesus and whiskey,” she wails over Kristian Bush production.
