Beyond the explosive Netflix documentary gearing up to explore his alleged hoax hate crime like never before, he’s also returning to FOX for the first time since being cut from the network’s former hit series ‘Empire‘ for the negative press that circulated around his arrest.

Re-emerging for the channel’s wildly popular ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test‘ reality show, Smollett will compete on the series’ season 4 against fellow celebrity contestants Kody Brown, Brittany Cartwright, Shawn Johnson East, Teresa Giudice, and Johnny Manziel.

New episodes of ‘Forces’ will premiere September 25.

Ahead of that, Jussie’s capitalizing on the buzz of the Netflix doc and reality venture by shining a spotlight on new music.
