JoJo is making a major return to Broadway and stepping into a role that has been turning heads all season.

The songbird is set to star in the revival of Chess, succeeding Lea Michele in the buzzy production.

The 35-year-old will begin performances at the Imperial Theatre on June 23, just two days after Michele’s final scheduled show.

She joins a cast that includes Aaron Tveit and Nicholas Christopher, as the revival continues its strong run following multiple extensions.

For JoJo, the move marks a notable Broadway return after her acclaimed stint in ‘Moulin Rouge! The Musical,’ where she earned praise for her stage presence and vocal delivery.

Beyond the theater, the Massachusetts native has built a career spanning over two decades, with hits like ‘Leave (Get Out)’ and ‘Too Little Too Late.’ She also earned a GRAMMY nod for her PJ Morton. collaboration on Say So.

‘Chess, in its current run, is directed by Michael Mayer and continues to earn rave reviews.
