Just days after rocking the cover of ‘Variety’ magazine for its annual ‘Power of Women’ edition, Jennifer Hudson showed off her true superpower by delivering a stunning rendition of ‘I Will Always Love You’ in honor of late music icon Dolly Parton at the magazine’s ‘Power of Women’ event.

An annual event launched in partnership with the Lifetime TV network, ‘Power of Women’ – hosted at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills on Wednesday (September 23) – celebrated accomplished women who are making moves in the entertainment industry.

Despite being among this year’s honorees on a star-studded list that included big names like Sharon Stone, Melissa McCarthy, Pearlena Igbokwe, and more, Hudson was the one handing out tributes in the form of a rousing performance in homage to Parton (who passed away on August 25).
