Jay-Z made his long-awaited London return a star-studded affair.

The Hip-Hop titan stormed Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first of two sold-out ‘JAŸ-Z 30’ shows, bringing Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Giggs, DJ Khaled, and Idris Elba along for the ride.

The September 4 spectacular served as Jay’s first solo London concert since 2013 and continued the anniversary celebrations that recently saw him expand the UK run to two nights.

Elba opened proceedings with the spoken intro made famous on Hov’s ‘American Gangster’ album before Hov launched into ‘Pray.’

The guest appearances kept coming from there.

Khaled joined him for ‘God Did,’ while  hometown hero Giggs brought a distinctly London flavor to the night with the classic ‘Talking the Hardest.’

One of the evening’s biggest surprises came when Lauryn Hill and Wyclef reunited for a mini Fugees set featuring ‘Ready or Not,’ ‘Killing Me Softly,’ and ‘Fu-Gee-La.’

Jay also paused the show to celebrate wife, Beyoncé, who marked her 45th birthday from the crowd. The stadium joined in the celebration before fireworks erupted around the venue.

The moment came just weeks after Beyoncé helped bring Jay’s blockbuster New York run to life. As TGJ reported, the Yankee Stadium launch similarly welcomed an all-star roster of surprise guests.

David Beckham, Cynthia Erivo, Michael B. Jordan, Olivia Dean, Dave, and Kano were among the famous faces spotted in attendance in London.

And there is little time for the dust to settle. Hov returns to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight (September 5) for night two.
