Jaime Jaquez Jr. goes ‘Miami chic’ in all-white Armani for Heat Gala

On Feb. 2, the Miami Heat marked the 20th anniversary of their 2006 NBA championship with a “Miami chic: white hot” gala — and forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. and girlfriend Dominique Ruotolo, a current model and former USC Trojans track and field jumper, got ready together for the occasion.

Jaquez’s white Giorgio Armani linen suit fit the night’s theme and doubled as a tribute to franchise architect Pat Riley, long synonymous with wearing the brand’s suits while coaching on Miami’s sideline.

“Giorgio Armani and the Heat go a long way back,” Jaquez told Andscape. “That was Coach Riley’s go-to, so I thought what better way to celebrate than to go to his go-to?”

Ruotolo got ready at home alongside him for the white carpet, complementing his Armani in a white one-shoulder Versace gown with soft ruching.

“She is the moment,” Ruotolo said of her dress. She joked she’s usually the slower one to get ready, unless it’s Jaquez on game day.

“He does a whole fashion show, going through his Bottega and Prada,” Ruotolo said.

Watch Jaquez and Ruotolo get ready for the gala, as he breaks down his designer rotation, and she delivers the final verdict on his look.
