The series, inspired by Judy Blume’s beloved novel, struck a chord with viewers thanks to its heartfelt portrayal of young Black love through Keisha and Justin, played by Lovie Simone and Michael Cooper Jr.

Season 2 will film across Los Angeles and Martha’s Vineyard, hinting at an expanded world for the duo following their emotional split.

With Keisha heading to Howard University and Justin embarking on a gap year, the next instalment is poised to explore identity, distance and whether love can find its way back.
