First Look: Prime Video’s ‘Finding Joy’ – Tyler Perry’s First Holiday Film in 12 Years

Tyler Perry is bringing festive magic back to the big screen with ‘Finding Joy,’ his first holiday film in over a decade.

The romantic dramedy marks Perry’s long-awaited return to seasonal storytelling following 2013’s ‘A Madea Christmas.’ Front and center is ‘P-Valley’ star Shannon Thornton, taking on her first lead role in a holiday romance.

She plays “Joy,” a New York fashion designer struggling to shine at work and in love. When Joy follows her crush (Aaron O’Connell) to snowy Colorado, a shocking twist and an untimely storm leave her stranded.

With Tosin Morohunfola, Brittany S. Hall, Inayah and Eric Stanton Betts rounding out the cast, ‘Finding Joy’ promises warmth, humor and Perry’s signature twist.

‘Finding Joy’ premieres globally on Prime Video on November 5.
