‘Supergirl’ is officially taking flight next summer, and fans have been gifted their first lengthy look at the highly anticipated DC Studios reboot.

Milly Alcock takes center stage as Kara Zor-El in her big-screen superhero debut.

The rising star steps into the dual role of Supergirl with a grittier edge as DC ushers in its next cinematic era.

Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, the film follows Kara after a ruthless enemy strikes dangerously close to home. Forced to partner with an unexpected ally, the Kryptonian heroine embarks on an interstellar mission driven by justice, vengeance, and survival.

Alcock leads an ensemble that includes Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.

DC Studios chiefs Peter Safran and James Gunn are among the film’s producers.
